John O. Bolen, MPA

John was selected from a very competitive field by the private equity firm Fire Pit Capital and was installed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Sciath Security, on December 7, 2025. John came to the CEO position after six years in the private sector as Senior Director and Vice President at Constellis. He served there as a global security and investigations Executive, responsible for a significant business and operations portfolio approaching $1B in annual revenue.

John retired in September 2019 from federal government service. He was a member of the United States Senior Executive Service, retiring as an Assistant Director of the United States Marshals Service. Over the course of his nearly 23-year career with the Department of Justice, John garnered many national awards and formal  recognition for his diverse and expansive operational experiences and achievements, having held ten different assignments spread evenly between the field and headquarters. He is widely accepted as an expert in protective intelligence investigations, threat management, and physical and technical security, having previously been personally responsible for the security of the Third Branch of the United States Government (Federal Judiciary), as well as a voting member to the Interagency Security Committee. He finished his federal law enforcement
career leading the Judicial Security Division and Office of Professional Responsibility, while simultaneously reporting directly to the Office of the Director as the agency’s designated Federal Senior Intelligence Coordinator, Chief Compliance Officer, and Director of Internal Affairs.

Additionally, John’s devotion to service includes retiring as a decorated Intelligence Officer from the United States Navy Reserve, in November 2020. He has 28 combined years of distinguished active and reserve service as both a former enlisted and officer, including six years of active duty at the famed Naval Special Warfare Development Group in Virginia Beach, VA. He retired as a Commander from the Naval Information Forces Reserve Region Washington, DC located at Joint Base Andrews, MD., after completing a distinguished command tour as the Commanding Officer of the Joint Intelligence Operations Center Detachment 0174 at the United States Southern Command located in Doral, FL. His two most recent duty assignments prior to that were as a plank owner and Executive Officer for the Naval Meteorological and Oceanography Reserve Activity at the United States Naval Observatory in Washington, DC, and as the Director of the Naval Intelligence Training Center, Defense Intelligence Agency, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC.

Furthermore, John’s commitment to service has continued in the private non-profit sector. He is the Past Chair and current member of the Board of Directors for the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund, where he helps raise and manage millions of dollars in charitable contributions for distribution to survivors of those killed in the line of duty supporting the missions of the United States Marshals Service. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer for the Federal Protective Service Association, an organization dedicated to honoring and supporting the brave employees and contractors of the Federal Protective Service who have served and sacrificed for our nation. Finally, John is a Board Advisor to Grey Bull Rescue Foundation, an organization focused on rescuing Americans and its allies around the globe when seemingly no one else can.

John’s educational achievements include a Master of Public Administration from Troy University (1997) and graduating Magna Cum Laude and member of the Delta Epsilon Sigma College National Honor Society with a Bachelor of Science (Criminology) from Saint Leo University (1994). Additionally, he is a graduate of the United States Naval War College (2014) and the National Security Executive Leadership Seminar at the United States Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute (2012).

Wyatt Huls, COO

With a decade of service as a Critical Skills Operator in Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), Wyatt has honed the ability to make precise and effective decisions in high-pressure environments. He further refined these skills as a contractor in high-risk global security operations and founder of executive protection specialists, Vigilant North.

Formerly the Senior Director of Ops and Intel at a leading physical security company, Wyatt is a seasoned expert in the industry and demonstrates an exceptional ability to navigate complex operational landscapes. His focus on meticulous risk assessment and strategic alignment ensure that operations run efficiently while his passion for solving complex problems and vigor for innovation drive him to continuously push the envelope of what is possible in the physical security profession.

Now enrolled in the Executive MBA program at the University of Michigan and armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University, Wyatt seamlessly blends theoretical knowledge with real-world application. Every choice is informed by data-driven analytics and a wealth of experience – ensuring operations align seamlessly with strategic goals.

Aaron Kellington
Aaron Kellington, Founder Kellington Protection, a Sciath Security Company

As Kellington Protection joins Sciath Security, we are excited to gain Aaron’s expertise, his commitment to the community, and most of all, his dedication to his clients.

Aaron is a seasoned professional in the private security industry with over 20 years of experience. Known for his commitment to excellence, he combines deep industry expertise with a relentless focus on exceptional client service, ensuring that everyone receives the highest level of protection and personalized attention. His visionary approach and proven track record have established him as a trusted leader in the field, continually setting new standards in security and client satisfaction. In 2010, he founded Kellington Protection, and under his leadership, the company grew to generate over 24 million dollars in annual revenue.

Beyond his professional success, Aaron is deeply committed to giving back to the community. His charitable initiative organizes annual turkey drives and toy drives, providing meals to families in need and joy to children who might otherwise go without gifts during the holiday season. This dedication to philanthropy reflects Aaron Kellington’s belief in the power of community and his commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Kyle Evans
Kyle Evans, Founder REDCON Solutions, a Sciath Security Company

Kyle has dedicated a large part of his career to working for and with US Military Veterans, and he brings that dedication to us, as REDCON joins Sciath Security.

Kyle is a Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and combat wounded veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his own rehabilitation, the Purple Heart recipient turned to serving veterans as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic. There he successfully placed 96% of his assigned caseload for permanent employment.

Combining his passions for humanitarian relief, professional development, risk management, and security led Kyle to the 2014 launch of REDCON Solutions Group. Kyle’s leadership has since been recognized multiple times, receiving the Gold HIRE Vets Medallion Award from the U.S. Department of Labor, Hands of Mercy Award from the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness, the Service to the Armed Forces Award from the American Red Cross of Orlando, the Veterans of Influence Spirit of America Award, and the 40 Under 40 Award from the Orlando Business Journal.

With an expertise in rapid deployment disaster relief support, Kyle Evans excels at developing and leading large and complex security initiatives.
